Wow, Arden Park has really taken some hits recently with the passing of Randy Larson, Carole McDonald, and Gaylyn Lawrence.
Yes, Michael Dunlavey is correct. We lived across the street from each other on Castec Drive and Gay, as I always knew her, lived around the corner about half way down the block. Gay and her family attended St. Mathews Episcopal Church as did my family. I remember her mom was very active in the church. Gay had a sister who was much older than she. When the school web site was created, I got a number of messages from Gay. She was always so funny and so outgoing and she talked about so many classes and friends and experiences in high school. It's funny how the classes you are put in affect who you are friends with. Again, I will need to search for class pictures! Were we in Girl Scouts together? I think so because so many names she mentioned I remember from my scout troop! I am sorry to hear of Gay's passing. It sounds like she has enjoyed her life as well, and I am sure her family will miss her very much.
