This comes as a  complete surprise, we just had our Class Fall luncheon at Sam's in October in which Jim attended. He was quite the center of attention, his witt and humor had not change from the past and he looked great.

Jim, will be missed and never forgotten, RIP

During the 70's Jim was stationed at Fort Ord.  I stopped to visit him. I asked him what was new?  He said he was married.   I congratulated him and asked her where she was.  Jim said it is not a conventional marriage.  She just needed a matrimonial status for some reason I can't remember now.   That is the way Jim was always helping the other guy. He was a good man and will be missed.  God Bless him.....

Jimmie, I will miss you so much. All your jokes, and all the tricks we played on Mom and Dad. Rest in peace and you will always be in my heart. Love from your little sister, Margie.

Jim called me before he moved to Colorado.  He said he was having some problems, but he mostly talked about his life in the service.  He shared all the places he had traveled around the world, and he was very proud of his career and his life.  When I teased him, he said, "Why does everyone remember the times I got in trouble?"  My answer was that everyone was just glad that they weren't the ones getting in trouble!  He seemed skeptical..............    I am sorry that I didn't get to talk to him in person when he later moved back to Sacramento especially since he said Susan Baggarly and I were so hot! What year was that?

Dear friends-  Jim called me from Denver after he moved.  Seemed lonely and looking for former friends.  I lost track of him again with my busy schedule and now sorry he wasn't able to come down to Texas to visit my family and friends.  He was a nice friend.  Marge Dean (Margaret Fingerson)
